Hey Loves,
Remember, the" bad boy", Mediterranean, 1971 china cabinet? I have been working on it, with my peep, Cindy. Well, he is done! Well, done.. except for the crystal hardware coming his way, to compliment the beautiful, crystal chandelier hanging above him...Anyway....He is lookin pretty fine! I have to say, painting over that wood, was so satisfying! He is now painted, Annie Sloan- Old Ochre, with Martha Stewart Seaglass, inside, on the back panel. We felt a beautiful, watery, blue-green would compliment all Cindy's gorgeous china. Brown transferware, red transferware, cream stoneware, and more.... like I said, pretty dishes!! So, here he is.......and if you want your china cabinet face lifted, or anything else..... email me at
alittlecountryhouse@gmail.com!
Enjoy! Love!

 |
| This thing is way too heavy to move again, We put a tent on, I got the sander, and let her rip!! |
 |
| Now, we put the heavy hardware back on, just to see, but we are going crystal.... |
 |
| a little distressing..... |

Great job on this piece! Clever idea to sand under that plastic...wish I had thought about that! LOL
It's beautiful.
Thanks Ladies! It was a labor of love!
I couldn't believe that you were under there sanding :) I am with you....moving that sucker would have been a pain for sure. I am always amazed what a little paint will do.....and you know I am crazy about the inside being blue!
