You Had Me At Tulips......

My favorite flower in the world, is the tulip. I love all flowers, but the tulip is what really gets me. They are never around very long either, which, may be one reason I always crave them. The other reason,  is their color. They literally come in every color. Red, purple, yellow, orange, and on and on.....but my favorite color is probably any shade of pink. Now, my hubby , being the smart guy he is, knows this fact about me, very well. On Valentines day, for the past 20 years, he has given me tulips, almost everytime.  The other day, he really had me upside down, irritated with him.....I mean, I was on the war path. We have known each other, since we were kids, and we have been married 20 years this June....I get on the war path from time to time, so does he...Anyhoo....Look what walked in the door! and Just in time for Valentine's Day! Now, what were we fighting about???   I was instantly won over, and needless to say we made up.....You had me at tulips.....

These pics and your cute tea set are all so inspiring for me as I look to finish up the details on the mother daughter tea party I host every year! I love your blog and am happy to be your newest follower! Can't wait to have you over for a visit again!!! Xo, Aimee

Beth, how can you be at war with anyone who hands you tulips(smile). They're beautiful in your mason job!
