Finally, The kitchen is done! We had a lot of fun doing this for the Maples Family! It is a big change and looks so great. We painted old cabinets, and made them look a little shabby, farmhouse. We added bead board and new trim to the breakfast room and painted a wonderful barn red, for a shot of personality. My client is a lover of red! Here are some more before and after pics! Enjoy!
Here is where we begin:
| old paneling, border, breakfast room! |
| 70's kitchen |
New Beginnings
| Fun Color! and left some of the doors off for Open, Airy Feeling |
| Cute! |
| Red and White Love |
| that old counter, now board and batten! |
bead board and wide trim!
We left inside the window trim a dark stain, but painted the outer frame cream.
I like the combo. |

Your kitchen is pretty and colourful. Love the fun colours in the open cabinet and the trim detail. The tea cart is a lovely piece and vignette also. I'm stopping by from Nifty Thrifty Tuesday at Coastal Charm.
How wonderfully sweet and pretty your kitchen appears. I love everything about it. :)
